You will have undoubtedly heard people say that money isn’t everything and they are right to a degree. But most people say this because they are trying to pretend that they are happy with what they have (or haven’t!) got in life.
You might even have said it yourself, I know I have and for a while it makes everything feel a little bit better and I forget my troubles.
Now I am not saying that people who say this are wrong, but I don’t believe YOU truly believe that money isn’t important. Because if you have been researching Network Marketing, MLM opportunities, if you have subscribed to a course about WEALTH then I can’t really believe that you think money isn’t important.
However, quick task for you, write down the 5 things you value most in your life.
- Friends?
- family?
- health?
- peace?
- love?
- your home?
If money doesn’t feature in your top 5 then I bet you don’t have too much of it.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying you have to be materialistic or money mad. Not at all. But if you want to have money in your life, you have to VALUE it and FOCUS on it.
But DON’T confuse this with believing money will SOLVE everything. Being financially free is just one part of having a truly blessed, fulfilled and enriched life.
We have to change our mindsets in all areas of our lives not just how we view wealth, but how we grow friendships and relationships, how we see the world and how we choose to spend our time.
Believing money isn’t important is a very risky game to play. Why?….because if you don’t place a value and focus on it, it will just disappear. If you welcome money and opportunities that might make you money you will start to experience an abundance of wealth that you have not realised before.
Furthermore, if you concentrate on wealth you will also be concentrating on educating yourself, learning and trying new things and meeting new people.
Making money or learning how to make money, doesn’t mean you will have to neglect your family and friends, instead think of all those non-productive past times you have such as watching TV, going to a bar, playing on the Wii and use THAT time to concentrate on wealth.
If you really feel strongly about the time you spend with family and friends, think about how you will be able to share your new found wealth with them and when you get good at making money you will have even MORE TIME to spend with them.
Make wealth your focus today.
