So yesterday it was announced that Zeek Rewards and Zeekler.com has voluntarily closed it’s doors as the North Carolina Attorney General issues a Civil Investigation Demand in to the company. It then took only a handful of hours before all the so called leaders and guru’s started showing their true colours, pointing fun at Zeek Affiliates and offering their wonderful company as an answer to the Zeek affiliates prayers.
It is really upsetting that people are so quick to judge without taking time to listen to the full facts. Now I’m not an affiliate in Zeek, but I do have friends that are and I hate to see them being mocked by people in any way shape or form.
What we do know is that the Red Carpet Event next Wednesday has been cancelled, that any training and leaderships have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. That Zeek Accounts appear to be frozen. We know that the locks have been changed on the premises by the company and employees have been seen taking out personal effects. Now if this was a Criminal investigation, those locks would have been changed by Law Enforcement and evidence would most certainly not have been able to be removed from the premises.
Whilst we don’t know for sure, it is likely that Zeek have a set period of time in which to answer the questions of the Attorney General Office, that they are under close scrutiny and questions surrounding the companies business model, accounts, compensation plan etc need to be looked at in detail and from a balanced viewpoint.
To my mind it actually makes perfect sense that a company such as Zeek, that has been growing exponentially over the last 12 months, that has seen almost unprecedented growth should now be looked at closer, not just for consumers but for the affiliates who have invested their time and energy in to the company.
Let time do it’s thing, if this is a legitimate sustainable business model it will be established over the coming weeks and months. If it is not, then so be it. But let’s let the Zeek affiliates have time to make an informed decision as to whether they wish to continue to affiliate with the company and or want to pursue other forms of income.
If you have any up to date news on Zeek, please feel free to share it below,
To Your Success,

Beth,
It’s been a long time and it was nice hearing your sweet voice again. I’m kinda surprised by this. Well at least seeing your post on this the topic.
I’m like you and have been approached many times on this company and for me, it just never felt right. I think that I understand why people get involved in these companies especially when other people are telling how much money they are making in these businesses. To many people Are Not making money online or offline in their businesses. Then when they are told that they can make $2,000 per week, they unfortunately jump at the chance.
Whether it’s right or wrong, most people are looking to win the Lottery and this usually happens to 7 out of ten Network Marketing companies in the first 5 years.
I know of many people that have invested $10,000+ into ZEEK and I hope there is a way for them to get their investments back. But my understanding is that ZEEK made it clear that you were only buying points and that it was not an investment. That being the case, I just hope and pray that there is a work around for these people if this goes in the wrong direction!
Thank you for a great post as you always do. Taking the high road when these things happen is in everyone’s best interest. Give these people time and if they are the right person for your business, then they will find you!
Thanks again! Dave and (Dawn)

Hi Dave and (Dawn)
Yes I recorded this just before it was confirmed. There were a number of things that didn’t ring true to me at the time, which is why I never joined. It did seem that many people were making more money easily then in a traditional network marketing business, hence many people jumped no questions asked at the chance. I know many who invested heavily. Whenever a company gives you the option of reinvesting that will always a have alarm bells for me, but Zeek won’t be the first and wont be the last either.
Thanks for stopping by, miss ya, hope things are good in Dave and Dawn land.

Hey Beth,
It is unfortunate that this has happened, but now it is a federal case. With the SEC coming into the picture it seems that more is know about Zeek than we meer bloggers know about. I did have an account with Zeek and was going to use it for funding other marketing projects. I never really understood the business model but thought that I was placing ad for them so at least that was worth something.
As for your comments on the people who have worked Zeek as a business, I to feel bad for them. But my point is why would the owner of the company say that he will be paying back 4 million dollars? Something is going on. I am sure that the state and federal government agencies have been investigating Zeek for awhile before they made all this public. Whether Zeek closed on its own doesn’t really matter, damage to it name has been done.

Hi Joyce,
Yes it certainly has, obviously I recorded this in the hours before it was announced it was indeed a ponzi scheme. It really is a sad time for Zeek affiliates.

Hi Beth
I completely agree with you. Now it’s Monday August 20 and we know that Zeek is finished, all funds were siezed by the SEC and Paul Burks had to pay a fine of 4 million. There are many other details that can be found on the The North Carolina Atty General’s site, and on the SEC.gov site.
I was actually very ashamed of my fellow mlm colleagues last Thursday night and Friday, for their canabalistic or “vulture” like behavior, circling the meat on the ground ready to swoop down and grab it.
Troy Dooly made an excellent video about the subject, and was pretty shocked at the behavior as well. We see feeding frenzies all the time, but it was as if these people completely lost all sense of humanity and sensitivity to the situation.
There are real families involved, and people who drastically changed their lives because of the great incomes Zeek was making them. Some took on larger mortgages, larger car payments, quit jobs (ouch) and much more.
To go on facebook and say “See people this is exactly what we warned you about months ago” is just plain CRUEL!!! I was angry, ashamed as I said, and frankly really sad that day.
I am sorry for such a negative post, because you know me, I don’t post negative stuff.
This however needed to be said!
