If you speak with different leaders in the Network Marketing and Multi-Level Markeing (MLM) industry, they will probably all come with the idea about how to be a successful – and I am not going to recite the in’s and outs of duplication, scripts, having a big enough WHY and making a list of your warm and cold market. PHEW!
What I want to concentrate on however, are some home truths like IT TAKES TIME, YOU HAVE TO TAKE ACTION & YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO GIVE UP! So here goes.
It Takes Time
Yes, love it or hate it, it’s going to take you time…and then some more!
If you have been expecting to get rich quick, then you are sadly in the wrong game. If you think you can recruit 3, 6, 9, or 12 people and you will have done all you need to do, then again you are mistaken. However if you get lucky or you plan your recruiting well and you recruit some motivated, successful, clued up go-getters that will build like billio, then you might be on to something!
Of course, it’s not all doom and gloom and the more you support and train your recruits, the more you will help them to yield the results quicker! So remember, recruit wisely and help them win! Then you can get to where you want to go a heck of time quicker!
Sounds obvious, but one of the biggest barriers I hear in Network Marketing or MLM is that people just don’t enough time. I understand this pressure well and it can be hard building and recruiting in your spare time, between careers, family and all the others things life throws up!…but It can be done and you only have to do this battle once!
The only way to really overcome this is to be 110% dedicated and give yourself clear time-frames when you are going focus on building your business, training your team and marketing. If you are not using your time effectively & not taking steps forward (however small!), then it is going to take a darn sight longer to get to where you want to be and see the results you want.
FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS…taking these small steps, often and regular WITHOUT BREAKS will get you to your destination much much quicker. So take LOTS of ACTION and you WILL see results. Big Fat Promise!
You Can’t Give Up!
The only time you should ever give up in Network Marketing or MLM is when you have clearly made a massive error in your judgments about a particular opportunity or product. To ensure that you make the right choice the first time, check out my earlier post Finding the Right MLM for you.
Most people give up because after a few months of chasing friends and family they haven’y recruited anyone. If YOU haven’t recruited anyone, then you are probably not approaching enough people. Ask yourself….how many people are you going to introduce, tomorrow, next week and the week after that?
Network Marketing and MLM is a long term plan. One of the biggest reasons that you can’t afford to give up is that people you recruit, will sometimes drop out and you have to be quick to fill the gap and keep up with the momentum. Lead by example, be the winner you want to see in your team and they will follow too.
Unfortunately you Network Marketing and MLM journey wont always be a bed of roses. There will be many hurdles for you to overcome, if you ever going to reach your pot of gold. Have faith, even though it sometimes feels hard…as long as you are consistent with steady progress and spots of success in between, you can be rest assured that you are on the right path and your efforts will be rewarded on an unimaginable scale.
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t ever give up. It will go wrong along the way, but keep making steps forward & remember you are in it for the long run and success will be yours.
