What’s in Your Positive Pack
Staying positive is sometimes easier said than done. When life keeps throwing things our way, it’s easy to feel down, overwhelmed and irritated. I especially feel for those who are struggling at this time of year when everyone is supposed to feel happy and upbeat.
Whilst some people are naturally positive by their very nature, there are some simple ways you can change the way you feel. Believe it or not, you control your response to every situation that comes your way. When stuck behind a learner driver, when you miss the last bus home, when you are late for work and you have to scrape the ice of your windscreen, how you react is entirely up to you.

There are many ways you can switch your thinking in the spur of the moment, but what happens when you’ve been feeling down for some time and just can’t seem to shake it. Well you could reach for your Positive Pack.
Your Positive Pack is a collection of objects, music, memories, photographs that make you happy, that remind you of the activities, people and events that make you happy. When we get down in the dumps, we sometimes forget to do the things that we once loved.
Remember those things you loved to do as a child and figure out how you can do them once again. It might be something as simple as, reading, drawing, being in the garden, going to the park, kicking leaves, signing, learning to dance, being on the phone to a friend for an hour. You know the kind of things I mean.
